Let's Work Together
Workshops
Let's write together
“Harriet created a really thought provoking set of exercises and by the end I felt much clearer and also had some great ideas for content and how to take my own personal brand story further.”
Something special happens when a group of women come together and these storytelling workshops lean into that energy. This is all about giving you the time, space and gentle guidance to start exploring your story and bring some clarity to your messaging.
Details of future workshops will be shared here, Instagram and with subscribers to my newsletter Gently Does It.
Clarify your story, sharpen your messages
October 2026, online
Let’s refresh your story and messaging
Perfect if your About page could use some love, it’s time to refresh your newsletter and social captions or you just want to feel more confident talking about what you do and why because you never know where a conversation might lead you.
What to expect
Through practical communication tips and easy-to-follow writing exercises we’ll explore the heart of your story, start to identify the threads that tie it together and refresh your messaging along the way.
Clarity, focus and confidence are what we’re looking for here.
- Your why – the heart of your story
- Your key messages – the messages that shape your story
- Why this matters to you and the people you want to connect with.
Who’s it for?
Women whose work depends on authentic messags and storytelling that build relationships based on trust and connection, business owners, coaches and therapists.
Just bring yourself and something to write with, I’ll keep the group small and there’s no need to share unless you want to. This is an hour for you to get curious about your story.
Your questions answered
I’ve tried to answer as many of your questions here, but if you want to know more about the workshops, please email me: harriet@moorcommunication.co.uk and we can chat!
Who are these workshops for?
They’re for women in their midlife. Women who work, run their own business, have more than one business, job or creative endeavour. Women going through a career or life change or simply want time and space to think about their story.
Do I have to be a writer to come along?
No! These sessions are all about the words and stories we use to talk about ourselves but you don’t have to be a writer to come along.
What happens in the workshop?
I’ll welcome you into the Zoom room, explain the running order. I’ll share insights, tips and my experience of writing copy and brand stories with some slides. Other times we’ll be silent giving you time to think, write or jot notes down. I’ll email slides and notes after the session.
How often are they?
Every other month. I’ll share the date for the November 2026 workshop in due course.
Is it online or in person?
The session is online via Zoom.
Why are they online?
I want these sessions to be accessible to women wherever they’re based – in the UK or elsewhere – and to take away some of the logistical challenges that can come with in-person workshops.
Will you be running these in person?
I might do in the future, but for now, the sessions are online.
Will I need to have my camera on?
No, these sessions are a safe space. Not everyone feels comfortable being on camera so you are welcome to keep it on or switched off during the session, or even switch between the two during the hour. Whatever feels right for you.
Will it be recorded?
I won’t record the session. I want women to feel safe speaking up without having to worry about other people listening at a later date.
Why are places limited?
These sessions are designed to be safe, nurturing spaces for women to think clearly, away from the distraction of everyday life. There’s only one of me and I don’t want to spread myself too thinly. I want to be present for all the attendees and give people who want to share, the opportunity to do so.
Will I need to share anything?
No, there’s no pressure to share or join in any conversation. The Chat function will be there for any questions or observations you’d rather share that way.
What do I need to bring?
Something to write with – I’m a big fan of writing by hand, something magical happens when your hand moves across the page – but writing by hand doesn’t work for everyone, so use whatever works for you.
